Energy That Moves the World Forward
Energy is the lifeblood of a living economy. It should be abundant, clean, affordable and built for a healthy planet. We should embrace new technologies, including nitrogen-based ones and others like them, more, not less, and let engineers and entrepreneurs compete to power the future.

Abundance, Not Scarcity
Cheap, reliable energy lifts people out of poverty and heats homes, grows food and runs hospitals. Nitrogen is a good example. It makes up about 78% of the air, and nitrogen fixation feeds roughly half of humanity through fertilizer. Nitrogen-based chemistry such as green ammonia can carry energy from sun and wind to places that need it, and burns without carbon dioxide. Add other proven options like nuclear, geothermal, hydrogen and cleaner natural gas, and the world can keep growing while the air and water get cleaner.
Three principles
Abundant
More energy for more people. Poverty shrinks when power is cheap and reliable.
Clean and sustainable
Technology that cuts waste and pollution and leaves the soil, water and air healthier.
Open to innovation
Free markets and property rights reward invention. Less red tape, more breakthroughs.
Technologies to embrace
- Nitrogen: fixation for food, and green ammonia as a clean fuel and energy carrier.
- Nuclear: small modular reactors for steady, carbon-free power.
- Geothermal: heat from the Earth, available all day, every day.
- Hydrogen and ammonia from sun, wind and water, stored and shipped.
- Cleaner use of natural gas and oil while the new tools mature.
- Local, resilient energy that keeps communities powered in a crisis.
The Living Systems Story
Energy is the master resource. When it is cheap and clean, everything else gets better.

Fair note. Every energy source has trade-offs. Nitrogen fertilizer can pollute waterways when over-used, and ammonia is toxic if mishandled, so good practice and engineering matter. Check figures and costs for yourself. Related: Money and US Real Numbers.
